Arts of Resistance
Arts of Resistance is a coalition of organizations that use art to inspire social and political change. Through music, film, poetry, dance and more we aim to build a vibrant community of artists and social movements that strengthen each other. Throughout history, art has been a driving force behind some of the most prolific social movements. Current popular culture largely separates art from activism, but many artists continue to create works that raise awareness on injustices worldwide. Our coalition supports resistance arts by hosting, training and connecting revolutionary artists and activists in the Netherlands and beyond. By uniting them, and everyone in between, we aim to reach our common goal of creating a more just future.
