About:
That strange intermediate state during lucid dreams, when the body physically reacts to images summoned by your imagination: that’s a pretty apt way to describe the impact of Sarah Davachi’s ambient compositions. This Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based artist uses both acoustic instrumentation (piano, woodwinds, strings, organs) and electronics (analogue synths, modular synths & drones) as tools to straddle the chasms between harmonics and noise.
Captured on Friday, 8 November 2019, at Janskerk during Le Guess Who? 2019. Listen + watch more Le Guess Who? recordings via our archive.
