Touching Bass is a London-based musical movement founded by Errol and Alex Rita, comprised of a community-come-club night, record label, staple NTS Radio show, concert series and curatorial studio.
Since its inception, Touching Bass has steadily established itself as one of London’s most important musical incubators, gaining cult status for its community spirit, musical eclecticism and intentional approach.
In 2024, Touching Bass was invited as a guest curator for Le Guess Who?. At the festival, Errol & Alex, alongside Sammseed, presented INNA, an in-the-round dance floor of inclusion, celebrating the Jamaican roots of soundsystem culture. Photographer 36framez was present to capture the program at the Utrecht club KABUL à GoGo.
The program was a tribute to the past, present, and future of soundsystem culture, featuring the Jamaican dub master King Jammy, who celebrated the 50th Anniversary of his music career; and the legendary soundsystem and dub producer Aba Shanti-I.

Furthermore, performing as part of the program were South London's dub poet-meets-dancehall stageshow James Messiah; and a transatlantic b3b, between the in London-based and of South Sudanese and British descent Mia Koden, NYC-based Livwutang, and British-born, German-based Richard Akingbehin (co-founder of community radio station Refuge Worldwide).
