Taiwan psych duo Mong Tong 夢東 release new album 'Tao Fire 道火'

Mong Tong 夢東 is the Taiwanese psychedelic group formed by brothers Hom Yu and Jiun Chi, whose music is heavily influenced by Southeast Asian culture, including its mythology and folklore, as well as 60s and 70s psychedelic music.

Now, the siblings release their newest album, Tao Fire 道火, via the Kikagaku Moyo-ran Japanese label Guruguru Brain. Here, the duo stitch into their rich tapestry of psychedelic sound gamelan music, phin guitar, tabla drums, and Taiwan sisomi for a brand-new all-encompassing concoction of sound. Tune in below.
