In collaboration with Le Guess Who? and Garage Noord, the celebrated Dominican-American multi-disciplinary artist Kelman Duran presented a residency & club night including Emma dj, Torus, Bamoa Yende, Pebble, Noise Diva and WHYDJ.
Kelman Duran went to Amsterdam for a one-week residency, making music with local communities and hosting a two-room club night in Garage Noord on Saturday, September 23. It was a week of mutual inspiration, confusion and clarity. All will come together in newly created music, and a celebratory party.

Kelman Duran has been involved in Le Guess Who? for numerous years - he is more like family than a guest to the festival. His music is deeply moving, without ever foregoing the violent crudeness of the themes he touches on - racism, police brutality, and oppression.
