Gruff Rhys announces new album 'Pang!', shares title track
Welsh artist Gruff Rhys is best known as spearhead of perpetually wry pop oddballs Super Furry Animals, though his side projects and solo records are just as brilliant, both on a sonic and conceptual level. Now, Rhys announces his new solo album 'Pang!', to be released 13 September via Rough Trade and sung entirely in Welsh with a couple of verses of Zulu and an English title. It was recorded in Cardiff, Wales and produced and mixed by electronic artist Muzi in Johannesburg, South Africa.
