You could describe Eucademix (Yuka Honda) as an electronics instrumentalist, composer, and producer, but mostly, she enjoys calling herself a "decomposer". The artist just released her new EP Farm Psychedelia II. the follow-up to an EP that was released earlier this year, in a further creative burst of "Sensory Music" - again, in her on words.
Honda has been making all other sorts of music for nearly thirty years, primarily known for founding the boundless Japanese-American band Cibo Matto in the nineties. Besides playing with the band, she has also produced their records, as well as others’ (Sean Lennon, Martha Wainwright, and more), and her creative streak has gotten her involved in the world of film scoring and even multi-media opera with ‘No Revenge Necessary’, combining music with visuals.
