Mario Batkovic
Composer Mario Batkovic is no stranger to praise from the public and the press; his debut self-titled solo album was listed by Rolling Stone among the best avant-garde releases of the year. In 2021, the accordionist, whose mission is to extract the most sonic possibilities from the instrument through his symbiotic relationship with it, is releasing his latest record, ‘INTROSPECTIO’, via Invada Records. The album, slated for a December release, is, as the title suggests, a self-questioning examination of society and the meaning of sound.
