Mabe Fratti’s second album, 2021’s ‘Será que ahora podremos entendernos’ (‘will we be able to understand each other now’) is an exploration of the challenges of communication; but not just with others - with ourselves too. Using voice, cello, synthesizers and field recordings, the Guatemalan-born, Mexico-based artist playfully mingles chaos and experimentation with serenity and etherealism, further proving why Mabe Fratti is such a staple of the Mexican improvisation scene.

For the concerts at the Jacobikerk during Le Guess Who?, Uncloud and Light-Up Collective will be creating an immersive projected space.
