Crack Cloud is a rather peculiar project: a multimedia collective that includes members from different cities, ethnicities and origins. Their debut release ‘Anchoring Point’ is based around seven key members who contribute to the sound and visual aesthetic. Driven by the political ethos from thinkers like Malcolm X and Lydia Lunch, and sonic influences from artists like Fela Kuti and Talking Heads, Crack Cloud express themselves through quirky, pungent songs filled with adventurous spirit and dipped in ‘90s gloss.
