Aksak Maboul
This Belgian band has been continuously re-inventing itself, mixing and deconstructing genres to create its own unique sonic palette, ever since they first emerged over forty years ago. The only permanent member is its inventive creator, Crammed Discs’ Marc Hollander. In 2020, Askak Maboul emerged from a long hiatus to deliver ‘Figures’ – a double album hailed by critics as ambitious and mischievous. Their creative streak is, no doubt, still flourishing as ever.
