Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto - Desde Le Guess Who? (En Vivo)
During Le Guess Who? 2024, we witnessed the magic of legendary Cumbia and Gaita ensemble Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, thanks to festival curator Mabe Fratti who invited them to Utrecht.
Dubbed "the authentic masters of traditional Colombian Music" by the New Yorker, Latin GRAMMY-winning Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto have toured the world for decades, helmed by lead vocalist Rafael Castro. The group have continuously been pushing the Cumbia and Gaita genres towards new eras since the forties through the staggering talent of their generation-spanning members.
Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto have now released a new live album, recorded at Le Guess Who? 2024 by Marc Broer and Floris Hagemans. The album is available digitally now on all platforms and will be out on vinyl in August.
