As part of our new, hybrid platform COSMOS, we once again collaborated with Dutch music platform Front to bring you live sessions with rising Dutch artists.
Following the publication of the first session, with pop noir singer/songwriter/guitarist Anna van Rij, we now share the session with new Dutch post-punk outfit Private Banking at Utrecht's historic Marnixzaal, a hidden gem on Utrecht’s famed Dom Square. The group perform their self-titled song as well as the yet unreleased track 'Adultery'.
Private Banking is the new project by Ruben van Weegberg (Canshaker Pi, Personal Trainer, Steve French) and Doortje Hiddema (Euroboy), whose Wire and The Fall-inspired post-punk burns and simmers through your forehead like a pleasant morning hangover.
Front have also just published an interview with Ruben van Weegberg (in Dutch); find & read that here.
