Jamaican-American rapper, producer, and performer Ojay Morgan's alias Zebra Katz came through his thesis project - and morphed into a genre-defying extension of his interest in theater and cultural studies. His debut, 'LESS IS MOOR', was released in March 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. The 'razor-sharp' record (as described by Pitchfork), recorded between Berlin and London, encompasses hip-hop, minimalist soundscapes, high-energy club drum and bass, gabber, and techno, wrapped up in the artist's desire to explore issues like the Black experience and sexuality.
