Spirit Fest is the avant-pop supergroup we all fantasize about having by our bed-stand to sing us to sleep every night. Featuring members of The Notwist and Tenniscoats, this dream collective delivers, particularly on their 2020 record ‘Mirage Mirage’, some of the softest and warmest music to come from its members’ combined careers. Perhaps their natural chemistry is best mirrored in the album’s vocals, behind which there is always an audible ear-to-ear smile.
