Prison Religion
One famous sci-fi film once sported the tagline ‘in space no one can hear you scream’, but Prison Religion put that hypothesis to the test and then some. This Richmond, Virginia-based collage-rap/noise duo show that the heaviest of music is often-times economical and raw in its execution. The title of their 2018 EP ‘O FUCC IM ON THE WRONG PLANET’ more or less spells it out for you, distorting and pixelating primal anguish until it becomes this loud and frantic cosmic joke.
