Much of John Dwyer’s curatorship for this year’s Le Guess Who? reflects his attraction for music that is as exciting as it is mad, loud and potentially deafening. All these attributes can be found in his own music with OSEES, his main project. Dwyer’s dedication to trashing is well documented across the rock band’s lengthy discography; but it’s on the stage that the group’s knack for wrecking eardrums with fuzzy riffs and boisterous snares really comes alive.
