Despite being a relative newcomer, South London artist Lucinda Chua is blessed with a singular sensibility for music and artistry. Chua utilizes little more than her voice, a cello and an array of effects to compose ambient pop songs that feel both intimate and colossal. Having learned music by ear from the age of three, she carries her natural understanding of non-verbal self-expression not just into her collaborative endeavors (most notably with FKA Twigs) but to her own recordings.
