When you picture a professional cello player, you would be hard-pressed to imagine them on stage next to a screeching, guitar-smashing Nirvana. But that is just how wide Lori Goldston has cast her net throughout her long and prolific career. Besides lending her bow and fingers to a vast number of musicians and bands over the years, she has created a name for herself with her varied solo discography, in which she replicates her influences, from folk to jazz.
