Lewsberg
Rotterdam-based band Lewsberg are fond of taking matters into their own hands. Just like their self-titled 2018 debut and sophomore record, their latest mini-album, last fall's 'In Your Hands', was released by themselves. Arie van Vliet, Michiel Klein, and Shalita Dietrich's sound reflect their blunt approach to music-making; it is real, raw, and effortlessly cool, in a way indie rock made after the Velvet Underground almost never is. Recently, their sound has captured the attention of British label Speedy Wunderground (Black Midi, Black Country, New Road), under which they released single 'Six Hills' earlier this year.
