Bassoonist and composer Joy Guidry’s oeuvre has always been imbued with radical acceptance (which is the name they gave their first record, actually), and love for life. ‘AMEN’, their newest project, is no exception. According to the musician, the coming record - which is also their dissertation - is all about healing, and revealing ‘the healed part of myself’, as they told the Jazz Gallery.
