Beverly Glenn-Copeland
Curated by Devendra Banhart
Beverly Glenn-Copeland’s 1970 album, reissued by Super-Sonic Jazz this year, is a lush folk-jazz album in the vein of peers such as Tim Buckley and Joni Mitchell. After a twenty year absence, the Canadian trans artist has returned to the stage with a rich path of life in hindsight: he wrote for Sesame Street and released the 1986 New Age synth masterpiece ‘Keyboard Fantasies’. At Le Guess Who?, Glenn-Copeland will perform with five-piece ensemble Indigo Rising, breathing new life into his past works.
