Musically, U? features a.o. multi-disciplinary and genre-blending artist Cézanne, whose music paints musical landscapes, creating a fusion of alternative R&B, electronic neo-soul and folk; De Nachtelijke Escapades, who present their new album De Dagelijkse Bezigheden, a bold, poetic mix of funk, hip-hop, jazz and ska, full of zest for life and recognition; queer music duo LIONSTORM, with its signature aggressive clownesque style blending horrorcore, reggaeton and industrial metal; and Iranian-Dutch producer, rapper and performer Kourosh, who produces psychedelic trap and hip-hop while rapping and singing in English and Farsi.

Besides the artists included in this playlist, there are also a lot of other music-focused programs and performances to be experienced during U?, such as Utrecht-based dance company De Dansers, who will lead you through a series of improvisational movement exercises during their immersive dance concert; Catching Cultures Orchestra, who will bring people together through music—creating encounters that highlight both difference and common ground; We survive in sync, a femme+ gathering featuring workshops, conversations and performances hosted by The FemDem, a collective of DJs and producers committed to visibility, solidarity and shared growth within the electronic music scene; and much more.
