Heralded by The New York Times as 'one of the strongest avant-garde bands in New York', Zs is an ever-shifting experimental cluster. They have been incarnated as everything from a sextet to a duo, and have been categorized as no-wave, noise, drone, and psych. Their overarching mission, however, has remained; to challenge performers and listeners alike. This year, in celebration of their twentieth anniversary, Zs are returning with a three-LP box set by longtime label collaborators Nother Spy. Each record features staple members Sam Hillmer and previous Le Guess Who? curator Patrick Higgins.
