Zia Anger’s My First Film

Zia Anger’s short films have premiered at the New York Film Festival and Locarno. She has directed music videos for an impressive roster of artists, including Angel Olsen, Mitski, Beach House, Zola Jesus and Jenny Hval, the latter of whom she has toured and performed with. Under the title ‘My First Film’ Anger will give live commentary on her lost, abandoned, aborted and previously unseen works, including her unreleased first feature, which is based on her own formative life experiences.
