Wu-Lu

‘Learning To Swim On Empty’ is South London vocalist and musician Wu-Lu’s third venture into music-releasing, and, similarly to past outings, his newest EP resists being put in a box. His sonic tapestry weaves hip-hop, rock, and punk - both in look and feel. Inspired by growing up in Brixton, death, loss, and the sink-or-swim feeling of being thrown at the deep end, Wu-Lu’s songs perfectly channel these moments’ sense of urgency. The EP also features poet and artist Rohan Ayinde and award winning author and former Young People’s Laureate for London, Caleb Femi.
