Watkins/Peacock

Zachary James Watkins (Black Spirituals) and Ross Peacock (Mwahaha) conjure a new possibility of tone together. Influenced by dub and krautrock, and molded by experimental masters that came before them, the duo combines Watkins' electro-acoustic know-how with Peacock's analog-spacesynth expertise to design a novel blend of psychedelic electronica. The menacing yet enthralling result was first presented in 2020, in 'Acid Escape Vol.1' their release with London's The Tapeworm label. They followed suit with two other volumes, the latest of which received a glowing review from The Wire.
