‘Rakka II’ is the follow-up to Sasu Ripatti’s 2020 escapade as alter-ego Vladislav Delay, ‘Rakka’. However, its latest incarnation is not to be seen as a mere sequel, but rather a distinct act in this continuous rhythmic theatre. Inspired by a series of ventures into the icy Finnish wilderness, the producer continues bending the rules of drone music to his favor. Frequent collaborator and fellow sound sculptress AGF contributes for the visual aspect of the performance.
