The copper horns of Stichting BUI, a celebrated gathering of titans of improv, will come shoulder to shoulder with poetry performer Wordbites and beatbox legend Ramor. Rare combinations of performers who share a passion for the unknown: this is where it’s happening!
Stichting BUI (Bevordering Utrechtse Improvisatie) is a platform that’s all about improvisation, always starting from music and pushing out into dance, visual arts, spoken word or performance art; preferably, all of the above, all at once. For this jam at U?, BUI consists of: Koen Boeijinga (saxophone), Elsa van der Linden (saxophone), Lucas Kloosterboer (trombone) and Mees Siderius (drums).
Rayan Morshed aka Ramor, born in Syria and a Dutch resident since 2015, has a predilection for beats, rap, hip-hop and producing.
Wordbites is a word artist who mixes spoken word with live music, singing or dancing. Performance-poetry that packs a punch, and a crunch. It stings and then it touches soft as a feather. Fragile yet powerful.
