Songpoet is what American folk artist Tucker Zimmerman identifies himself as on the cover of his 2006 album, home to the acoustic folk gem 'She’s an Easy Rider.' Zimmerman is one of America’s most underrated talents, both as a guitar player and songwriter. Thankfully, there is still time to pay our respects to the octogenarian while enjoying the exquisite delicacy of his strumming and lyrics. This is especially true this year, as Zimmerman has resurfaced with a new album, 'Dance of Love,' featuring backing from 4AD label mates Big Thief and others.
