South London-based TONE created his most recent body of work, this year’s ‘So I Can See You’, during the pregnancy and birth of his daughter. Basil Anthony Harewood decided to capture this moment in recording - capturing with tender guitars and off-beat elements of shoegaze and dub the singular afterglow of parenthood. TONE, who is a CURL collective member and prior half of the punk duo Farai, is also strongly influenced by his Afro-Caribbean and Welsh heritage and his love of cinema (particularly, Wenders and Copolla).
