22 years ago, four kindred musical spirits found each other at Utrecht University. They shared a passion for unconventional music and formed We vs. Death. For ten years they steadily built on a successful career as leading instrumental post-rock band. Their epic, engulfing sound driven by strong rhythms and rich melodies had them touring all over the world, but in 2010 they suddenly disbanded. Now, almost thirteen years later, the legendary band from Utrecht is back for the first time to play a show. We vs. Death is part of the Tiny Room Records showcase at Studio Patrick.
22 jaar geleden vonden op de Universiteit van Utrecht vier geest gezinde muzikanten elkaar in hun passie voor onconventionele hard muziek en ontstond We vs. Death. Tien jaar lang bouwden ze als toonaangevende instrumentale post-rockband aan een sterke carrière. Hun epische, meeslepende sound vol sterke ritmes en rijke melodieën deed ze over de hele wereld touren, maar na twaalf jaar houdt de band er in 2010 abrupt mee op. Nu, bijna dertien jaar later, speelt de legendarische Utrechtse band weer een eerste show. We vs. Death is onderdeel van de show gehost door Tiny Room Records bij Studio Patrick.
