The Holy Mountain Live Score – Written and Performed by Bo Ningen

Swamped in mystical symbolism, Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 magnum opus ‘The Holy Mountain’ tugs at the viewers’ imagination. This year, the Japanese psych-rock band Bo Ningen decided to explore those feelings further, and they found themselves with a new live score. Following praised performances in London and Paris, the band is taking on dual roles at this year’s Le Guess Who?, as they are also curators. As for their Holy Mountain pairing, Clash Magazine calls it a perfect match, as they are ‘two beautiful forces of nature that have collided in perfect, chaotic unison’.
