Siksa
Spoken word poet and singer Alex Freixeit and bassist Buri retrieved the Polish slang word ‘siska’ - a naive and sexually attractive woman - and slapped it on as a label on their abrasive and radical brand of patriarchy-smashing punk music. On stage, they blend their background in literature and theater (ferociously targeting and questioning European consciousness) with a beastly, untamed punk attitude. They have shouted their raw feminist war cry on more than 250 Polish stages, as well as various European squats, galleries, and festivals.
