For this performance, song and dance collide in a partnership between producer Rian Treanor and video artist Leila Ziu. ‘Altered States on the Dancefloor’ sees director Ziu opening doorways into new realities – an exercise in escape inspired by the confinement of last year. She is joined by Treanor, who himself often reimagines the intersection between club culture, experimental art, and computer music, as established by his 2019 debut ‘ATAXIA’. Together, they convey not just an altered state – but an entirely ‘altered way of being’.
