The artist formerly known as D-Ribeiro has, over the years, learned to embrace new disciplines. Namely, the otherwise well-known DJ has been deepening his identity as a harpist, composer, and stage performer. In his fingers, the beautiful string instrument turns into a portal into a world in which classical music, electronica, and hip-hop peacefully coexist. Teased via his scoring work - most recently, on 2023’s ‘Waka Nanga Mi’ -, Ribeiro’s new meditative and vulnerable form is best experienced in a live setting.
