Randall Dunn

New York composer, sound designer, and producer Randall Dunn’s oeuvre is expansive enough to make it hard to pin down, but, still, all of his works are imbued with a specific density that distinguishes them from others’. Besides being a longtime collaborator of bands like Sunn O))) and Earth, Dunn has also worked closely with a laundry list of other artists and filmmakers, including Danny Elfman, Jim Jarmusch, Björk, and Guillermo Del Toro, to name a few. For his Le Guess Who? performance, he will be presenting a set of new music specifically composed for it, to be performed from the soundboard. The piece is called FANAA - ‘To die before one dies’.
