Lebanese-born producer and DJ Rabih Beaini (formerly known as Morphosis) specializes in grainy, imaginative analogue techno. A range of influences—improvisational jazz, krautrock, new wave, electronic—seep into his inventive, dark, and emotional productions and resounding live sets. Not many artists skulking within the leftfield electronic world could create music immersive enough for fans of Laraaji, Hieroglyphic Being, Throbbing Gristle and John Zorn to somehow congregate.
