PAINT
In PAINT, LA guitarist and songwriter Pedrum Siadatian is no longer one fourth of the band Allah-Las, but rather his own person. By himself, he has an opportunity to stretch out his musical and lyrical inspirations, ranging from Kevin Ayers to Lou Reed. On his latest release, 2020’s ‘Spiritual Vegas’, he continues to carve a unique spot for himself in the landscape of modern light-psych, thanks to a combination of snarky lyrics and summery grooves.
