Although they never played together at the time, Asher Gamedze and James McClure both played in bands that shared bills in the independent Cape Town music scene in the early-mid 2010s. A decade later, both having explored and grown as musicians in various ways, they played some of James’ music together in Cape Town on two occasions. At Le Guess Who? 2024 the two team up for a one-off improvised duet.
