Nick León and Kelman Duran are standing side by side for a b2b set that promises to whisk us away on nightly adventures. Long-time collaborators - Duran remixed León’s ‘Apretao’ for ‘Rompediscoteka’ EP as far back as 2021 -, the two are obviously kindred spirits. Each in their own way, León and Duran masterfully pull from their backdrop and find common ground in genre-blending and innovation.
British-Egyptian award-winning social and intellectual historian Hannah Elsisi presents Chromesthesia, a 13-hour durational performance. From Rio to Cairo, Miami to Kampala, Chromesthesia tracks Afro-diasporic rhythms and explores the history that undergirds Afro-descendant electronic music.
