Myriam Gendron
Ottawa-born Myriam Gendron settled in Montreal at age sixteen, working as a book dealer. Her kinship with literature resulted in her first release ‘Not So Deep As Well’, being a nine-track record built around Dorothy Parker’s poetry. Legendary rock critic Richard Meltzer called the folk collection one of the finest ‘impossible love’ albums of the last thirty years. Last year, Gendron released ‘Ma délire - Songs of love, lost & found’ - a bilingual interpretation of English and French traditional music.
