Italian-born, London-based record producer, mixer, and engineer Marta Salogni is adding drummer, composer, and percussionist Valentina Magaletti (of Vanishing Twin and many more) to her laundry list of collaborators (which includes Björk and Depeche Mode). When performing with others, Salogni filters their sound through mazes of tape, raising reflections on time and memory. For such, Magaletti is Salogni’s perfect match, as she also sketches broad-ranging sonic palettes, carefully arranged through endless listening and material and holistic experimentation.
