Maarten Vos & Maotik present Erratic Weather
‘Erratic Weather’, the digital art project of French digital artist Mathieu Le Sourd (Maotik) and Dutch cellist, composer and producer Maarten Vos, is a sonic picture of the chaos of climate change. To help set the scene, the performance features weather information retrieved from an online database and processed in realtime to generate a visual and surround sound composition. ‘Erratic Weather’ seeks to represent the state of the climate emergency - and to make it sound as urgent as it is.
