Laurel Halo
Curated by CURL
Despite drawing inspiration from multiple musical lineages, Laurel Halo’s consistency has allowed her to form her own signature sound, recognizable to both long-time and short-time listeners. The Detroit-born, Berlin-based artist has surpassed the boundaries of pop, ambient, leftfield, experimental, electronic music and soundtrack over the last decade. From her 2012 debut ‘Quarantine’ to her most recent projects, which include her new label Awe, a monthly show on NTS, work with the Moritz von Oswald Trio and collaborations with cellist Oliver Coates and The London Contemporary Orchestra.
