La Saramuya is a picó born from an immersion in Colombia’s Caribbean culture. Created by its owner, Stefanos Donikian, and built with the guidance of local experts, every component of the system, including the artwork by Maestro William Gutiérrez, is Colombian. Inspired by Barranquilla's carnival and "Verbena" parties, La Saramuya is the first fully Barranquilla-built picó brought to Greece, where it now has its home. A smaller version of it exists in Colombia, maintaining the connection between both systems and fostering cultural exchange. With a cultural mission, La Saramuya remains faithful to its roots with every performance.
