Ko Shin Moon
The duo Ko Shin Moon are entertaining in a similar way as back when you changed the instruments of sample tracks on a keyboard, just out of sheer curiosity how it would sound. Musicians Axel Moon and Niko Shin splice traditional string instruments and vintage synths, reconfiguring them into the paradigms of dancehall, chaabi, funk, new wave and spaghetti western soundtracks. A classic and infectious case of, ‘wow, this actually works’, mashing familiar elements together to make music that sounds both original and incessantly fun.
