Sound sculptor and loop finder Klara Lewis has spent the previous decade crafting tender and brutal records for Editions Mego, and now Yuki Tsujii (Bo Ningen). The duo put their heads together and ‘Salt Water’, their debut collection of explorative soundscapes, came out. Brainwashed described the collaboration, unleashed with the seal of London’s The Trilogy Tapes this spring, as an ‘absorbing’ collection of ‘scrabbling guitar noise assaulting an electric array of sixties’ exotica, classical, and film score samples’.
