Keeley Forsyth
Besides being a musician, North West England’s Keeley Forsyth is also an actor. This is made clear by her second LP, 2022’s ‘Limbs’. Surrounded by sparse arrangements, Forsyth’s voice is tasked with guiding the music, and her talent for performance is what makes those sung stories devastating and uplifting. While her past work was recorded in proximity with arranger Matthew Bourne, for ‘Limbs’ she deployed a more expansive palette with remote producer Ross Downes. The result is spacious music with room for enthralling storytelling.
