Ramallah, Palestine-based artist Julmud’s 2022 debut album ‘Tuqoos | ط​ُ​ق​ُ​و​س’ showcases his multifaceted talents: music producer (a.o. for Haykal and Al Nather), researcher, sound engineer, and designer. These sonic and visual sensibilities merge to create music that feels as if it's suffocating in miles of irresistible bubble wrap. Granular, intricate, and unlike anything you've ever heard, Julmud pushes against the boundaries of time, space, and mood, whether in his solo work or alongside his crew, hip-hop collective Saleb Wahad.
